Incoming goods inspector • Lancashire, England

Immediate opening: we are hiring an incoming goods inspector in Lancashire, England. Day-to-day duties: • Carry out first-article and in-process checks on the production line • Operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools • Measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Compare components against approved samples and engineering drawings • Record measurements on inspection sheets and SPC charts • Log batch numbers, lot codes and traceability data What we are looking for: • Willing to work rotating and night shifts • Confident using vernier callipers, micrometers and gauges • Understanding of AQL sampling and tolerance limits Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
