MIG/MAG welder wanted in Pawnee County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a MIG/MAG welder in Pawnee County, Nebraska. The job is in a heavy engineering unit. Day-to-day duties: • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead Ideal candidate: • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Full-time, day shift.
