Now hiring: we are hiring an argon welder in Graham County, North Carolina. Your main tasks: • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer Requirements: • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
