Garment machinist wanted in Floyd County

Join our team: we are hiring a garment machinist in Floyd County, Iowa. You will work at a knitwear stitching unit. You should have: • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently You will stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift. At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. $4,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time, day shift. Contact us to fix an interview.
