Vacancy available: gas metal arc welder (Kano State)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gas metal arc welder in Kunchi, Kano State. You will work in a heavy engineering unit. You should have: • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium The role involves: • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Pay around ₦190,000 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
