Aluminium TIG welder — Macon County

Now hiring: we are hiring an aluminium TIG welder in Macon County, Missouri. You will be based at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. Day-to-day duties: • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent What we are looking for: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard 3+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $3,100 per month, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
