Furnace operator wanted in Phelps County

Join our team: we are hiring a furnace operator in Phelps County, Missouri. The job is in the fettling and dressing shop. You will make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant. Requirements: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor $170 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
