What we are looking for: • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding On a typical shift you will clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut.
