Ideal candidate: • Available on-call and at weekends for breakdowns • Able to read wiring diagrams and pressure-temperature charts On a typical shift you will replace compressors, filter driers and expansion valves; trace leaks with an electronic detector and soap solution; check oil level and top up or change the compressor oil; fault-find control boards and defrost timers; recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system; read suction and discharge pressures on the manifold gauges.
