Banksman — Lake County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a banksman in Lake County, Ohio. The job is at a power plant. Day-to-day duties: • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position Requirements: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Confident with standard crane hand signals A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
