Flatlock machine operator wanted in City of Covington

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a flatlock machine operator in City of Covington, Virginia. The job is in a sampling and tailoring workshop. On the job you will handle: • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges What we are looking for: • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance Six days a week, one day off.
