Brick and block layer wanted in Montrose County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Montrose County, Colorado. You will be based at a residential building site. The role involves: • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb Requirements: • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools Rotating shifts.
