Now hiring: we are hiring a scaffolding erector in Yellowstone County, Montana. The job is at a shipyard. Ideal candidate: • Reliable, punctual and able to work in a gang • Good head for heights and comfortable on open platforms • Proven experience erecting tube-and-fitting and system scaffold On a typical shift you will fit guardrails, mid-rails and toe boards to every working platform; inspect couplers, boards and tubes for damage before use; install ladder access and ladder gates between the lifts; tie the scaffold back to the building with through-ties and anchors; hoist tubes, boards and fittings up by gin wheel and rope; plumb the standards and level the ledgers with a spirit level.
