Immediate opening: we are hiring a short order cook in Goochland County, Virginia. The role involves label and date all prepped ingredients in the walk-in; chop, dice and portion vegetables, fish and meat; prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch; plate and garnish dishes for a quick pass to service; check deliveries and rotate stock using FIFO. Requirements: • Strong knife skills and speed on the line • Good teamwork and clear communication under pressure • Able to stand for long shifts and work in heat Part-time with flexible hours.
