Tiling assistant • Stanly County, North Carolina

Now hiring: we are hiring a tiling assistant in Stanly County, North Carolina. Day-to-day duties: • Grout the joints and wipe off the excess with a damp sponge • Lay floor and wall tiles to plumb and level using a spirit level • Fit skirting tiles, step nosings and external corner trims • Set out mosaic sheets and trim them to fit the edges • Set out the tile layout and snap reference lines with a chalk line Ideal candidate: • 2+ years' hands-on tiling experience • Skilled with a wet saw, angle grinder and manual cutter • Own a basic set of tiling tools (trowels, spacers, levels) Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
