Gang bricklayer • DeSoto County, Florida

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gang bricklayer in DeSoto County, Florida. You will be based on a commercial construction site. Day-to-day duties: • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation Ideal candidate: • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage Full-time, day shift. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. We offer $3,800 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
