We are recruiting: we are hiring a halal butcher in San Luis Obispo County, California. You will work at a halal meat counter. The role involves: • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts • Mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder • Weigh, price and label cuts for the display case • Keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts Requirements: • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day Full-time with occasional weekends.
