Garment machinist wanted in Mid Ulster

Great opportunity: we are hiring a garment machinist in Mid Ulster, Northern Ireland. You will be based on an export house sewing floor. Requirements: • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory On the job you will handle: • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension Full-time, day shift.
