We are recruiting: we are hiring a concrete shuttering carpenter in DeKalb County, Indiana. The job is at a reinforced concrete building site. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules Day-to-day duties: • Seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss • Set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking • De-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse • Box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations • Erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
