Fabricator-welder — Jones County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Jones County, Iowa. On the job you will handle: • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness What we are looking for: • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • ITI in welder trade or equivalent Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around $29 per hour, based on your experience. Share your details and we will call you back.
