TIG welder — Montcalm County

Now hiring: we are hiring a TIG welder in Montcalm County, Michigan. The job is in a stainless steel kitchen-equipment unit. The role involves sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush. What we are looking for: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
