Powder coating line operator • Cumbria, England

We are recruiting: we are hiring a powder coating line operator in Cumbria, England. The job is in a busy paint shop. On the job you will handle: • Apply an even powder coat with the electrostatic spray gun • Cure coated parts in the curing oven at set temperature and time • Check dry film thickness with a DFT gauge in microns • Inspect the finish for runs, orange peel and bare patches • Top up and monitor pre-treatment chemical bath concentrations • Reclaim and sieve overspray powder for reuse Requirements: • Keen eye for finish quality and surface defects • Comfortable working in a masked, ventilated booth • Willing to work shifts and overtime Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
