Urgent requirement: argon welder (West Virginia)

We are recruiting: we are hiring an argon welder in Wirt County, West Virginia. The job is on a structural steel site. Day-to-day duties: • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run Requirements: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination 5+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
