Ideal candidate: • Working-at-height certificate an advantage • Proven experience in thermal insulation and waterproofing The role involves: • Fix XPS and EPS boards to external walls with adhesive and mechanical anchors • Seal gaps around windows, doors and service penetrations with sealant • Measure and cut insulation boards neatly around pipes, ducts and openings • Lag hot and cold water pipes with rockwool sections and aluminium cladding • Fit mineral wool and glass wool batts between studs, joists and rafters Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
