Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas metal arc welder in Crittenden County, Arkansas. Requirements: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes Day to day you will set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; grind back and re-weld any defective runs; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration.
