Now hiring: we are hiring a vacuum press operator in Escambia County, Alabama. You should have: • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings Day to day you will shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; give each garment a final press before packing; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts.
