Urgent requirement: rigging foreman (Massachusetts)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a rigging foreman in Franklin County, Massachusetts. You will work at a busy construction site. You will check sling angles to stay within the working load limit; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; read lift plans and method statements before starting; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use. Requirements: • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
