Now hiring: we are hiring a CO2 welder in Fayette County, West Virginia. You will work in a heavy engineering unit. Ideal candidate: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test Day-to-day duties: • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls We offer $190 per day plus benefits. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
