Immediate opening: we are hiring a finishing presser in Furnas County, Nebraska. The job is at a dry cleaner's. Requirements: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine Your main tasks: • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. $21 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
