Join our team: we are hiring a MIG welder in McDonough County, Illinois. You will read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch. Ideal candidate: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
