Crane operator wanted in Cook County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a crane operator in Cook County, Illinois. You will work in an open-cast mine. You will carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension; level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines; load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket; keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook; excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels. Ideal candidate: • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
