Immediate opening: we are hiring a power press operator in City of Emporia, Virginia. You will be based at a white goods manufacturing plant. Requirements: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg The role involves: • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor • Feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways • Record output and downtime on the production sheet Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
