Now hiring: we are hiring a garment machinist in Minjibir, Kano State. Requirements: • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory You will inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go.
