Great opportunity: we are hiring a gang bricklayer in Sumner County, Tennessee. The job is at a residential building site. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks The role involves: • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
