Now hiring: gas appliance installer (Texas)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas appliance installer in Tarrant County, Texas. The role involves: • Complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate • Fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances • Install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls What we are looking for: • Able to read isometric and site drawings • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration We offer $22 per hour plus benefits. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
