Now hiring: we are hiring a painter in Portage County, Ohio. Day-to-day duties: • Sand and fill walls before applying primer • Strip old paint and wallpaper with scrapers and heat guns • Work safely from ladders, scaffolding and mobile towers • Apply primer, undercoat and two topcoats with brush and roller • Carry out snagging and touch-ups before handover • Apply textured and weatherproof masonry coatings to exterior walls What we are looking for: • A good eye for clean lines and an even finish • Sound knowledge of surface prep and the right primers • Own brushes and basic hand tools 4+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. We offer $2,500 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
