Great opportunity: we are hiring a toolroom milling operator in Woodson County, Kansas. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron Your main tasks: • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. $3,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
