Estate gardener — Oconee County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an estate gardener in Oconee County, South Carolina. On a typical shift you will plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings; weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe; maintain compost heaps and the potting shed; dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds; mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers. What we are looking for: • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting Meals and transport allowance provided.
