Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing You will read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes; fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances; braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints; purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate; check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray; connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply. 3+ years on the tools preferred.
