Great opportunity: fabricator-welder (North Carolina)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Vance County, North Carolina. On a typical shift you will clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; carry out 6G pipe welds where required; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run. What we are looking for: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
