Immediate opening: PVC window fabricator (Kansas)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a PVC window fabricator in Washington County, Kansas. You will work at a uPVC door and window showroom-cum-workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Read the cutting list and optimisation sheet and label each profile • Crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame • Fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash • Check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals • Clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash You should have: • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop • An eye for finish — no scratches, clean welds, flush beads • Confident on the double-mitre saw, welder and corner-cleaning machine Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
