Occupational health and safety officer wanted in Lawrence County

Now hiring: we are hiring an occupational health and safety officer in Lawrence County, Mississippi. You will work at a busy construction site. You will conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task; verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates; stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action; enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment; take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry. Ideal candidate: • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements Six days a week, one day off.
