Great opportunity: we are hiring a counter butcher in Durham County, North Carolina. On the job you will handle: • Debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder What we are looking for: • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day Full-time with occasional weekends. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
