Gas installation technician wanted in Washington County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gas installation technician in Washington County, Idaho. You will work at a busy gas installation company. The role involves complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation; test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser; install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves; purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate; fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls; install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation. Requirements: • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing We offer $30 per hour plus benefits. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
