Brickwork mason • Alger County, Michigan

We are recruiting: we are hiring a brickwork mason in Alger County, Michigan. You will work at a renovation and extension job. You should have: • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks Day-to-day duties: • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge Performance bonus on top of base pay.
