Production welder wanted in Iron County

Join our team: we are hiring a production welder in Iron County, Michigan. You will set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols. You should have: • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding Rotating shifts.
