Immediate opening: we are hiring a head baker in Monmouthshire, Wales. Your main tasks: • Monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch • Pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls • Check finished products for colour, crumb and weight • Shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand You should have: • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics • 2+ years' experience as a baker • Accurate at weighing and following recipes Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around £2,750 per month, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
