Argon arc welder wanted in Edgecombe County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Edgecombe County, North Carolina. Requirements: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding Day to day you will TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise. 4+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Pay around $29 per hour, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
