Estate gardener — Highland County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an estate gardener in Highland County, Virginia. Day to day you will plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings; maintain compost heaps and the potting shed; water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines; rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste; operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters; sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades. You should have: • Valid driving licence for travel between sites • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance $4,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
