Great opportunity: argon arc welder (Kentucky)

Immediate opening: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Taylor County, Kentucky. Day to day you will inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks. You should have: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
